Announcing Newcastle’s 3rd “Introduction to Clinical Research with Older People” Course

We are pleased to announce that NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC): Newcastle will be running a third “Introduction to Clinical Research with Older People” course in Newcastle on 26-27th November 2026. The two-day, in person course will be led by AGE Research Group members.

If you work in healthcare with older people and are thinking about embarking on research, now or in the future, this course provides the ideal starting point.

The course is aimed at all healthcare professionals with an interest in research with older people, and comprises a mix of talks and interactive group exercises delivered by a multidisciplinary team of leading ageing researchers in the NIHR BRC: Newcastle.

The course cost is £100, which includes lunch on both days. The venue is The Common Room, a Grade II listed heritage venue next to Newcastle Central Train Station.
