The AGE Research Group’s vision is to improve lives through world-class research in ageing, sarcopenia and multiple long-term conditions.

OUR RESEARCH

We lead interdisciplinary research on ageing across the translational spectrum.  Through the design and delivery of innovative deep phenotyped observational and experimental ageing studies we are making advances in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common age-related conditions, including sarcopenia and multiple long-term conditions (MLTC).  Our focus on translation ensures that the research evidence we generate has wide-ranging impacts on practice and policy and delivers benefits for individuals and society.
